Parent and player questions
Is AHD for baseball and softball?
Yes. Every AHD course and coaching plan is built for baseball and fastpitch softball hitters, about ages 10 through college. For ages 7–12 with a parent leading, 46/60 Academy is the better fit.
When can we enroll?
Enrollment opens November 15, 2026. Until then, join the waitlist. SwingChecker™, the Hitter Combine and Lessons 1–3 of every course are free to try now.
How long does each lesson take?
Most lessons take 10–20 minutes, including a scored at-bat challenge. You can do them daily or in 10-lesson sessions. The recommended plan is about two focused lessons a week.
How long do we have access?
Every course and The Whole System include 1 year of access for one athlete. It is a one-time price. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews.
What equipment do we need?
A bat, balls, a tee and a phone to film. Some lessons use a net, soft toss or a machine if you have one. Athletic Development lessons work with bands at home or a full weight room.
Will this get my hitter a scholarship or a higher average?
No honest coach can promise that. AHD promises a clear plan, the right order, real feedback and a way to measure progress. Results depend on effort, age, opportunity and many other factors.
What if it isn’t right for us?
