Your family's information
stays protected.
AHD works with young athletes, so we collect as little as we need, never sell it, and make it easy for parents to see or delete it.
The short version
- We never sell your information or your athlete's information.
- Card numbers stay with Stripe. AHD never sees or stores them.
- For athletes under 18, a parent or guardian should create the account, make the purchase and give consent.
- A swing video you open inside SwingChecker™ stays on your device. It is not uploaded.
- You can ask us to delete your account, swing videos and data at any time: Delete My Data.
- We never post an athlete's video, photo, name or story publicly without written permission.
Who we are
Athletic Hitting Development ("AHD", "we", "us") is a business of Hitting Universe, LLC, an Arizona company, and is a baseball and fastpitch softball hitting program run by BK in Scottsdale, Arizona, at athletichitting.com.
What we collect

How we use it
- To give you access to what you bought and save your progress.
- To build SwingChecker reports, training plans and coaching feedback.
- To send your report, training tips and account messages. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and we only text you if you said yes.
- To answer questions, process refunds and keep accounts secure.
- To keep athletes safe at in-person sessions. Health information from a waiver is used only for that and seen only by AHD coaching staff.
- To verify PRs and show verified ones on the PR Board.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the site, and only what they need to do their job:
- Stripe for payments.
- Supabase for accounts, course access and saved progress.
- Netlify for hosting and form submissions.
- Google Analytics and PostHog for usage statistics.
- Anthropic to power the "Ask AHD" assistant. Your question is sent to Anthropic to write the answer.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
What other athletes can see
- PR Board: verified PRs are shown to other enrolled AHD athletes with the athlete's first name and last initial (for example, "Jake M."), the number and the date. Proof clips are never shown. Want to stay off the board? Contact Coach and we'll hide the athlete's name.
- Nothing else an athlete does in My Academy or the Players Clubhouse is shown to other users unless the athlete chooses to share it.
The "Ask AHD" assistant
The assistant is an AI tool that answers questions about AHD. It can make mistakes, and BK has the final word. Please don't type private details like addresses, health information or a child's full name into it. Athletes under 13 should use it with a parent.
Text messages
If you contact Coach or give us your mobile number and say we may contact you, BK may text you about your athlete, your account or the program you asked about. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out anytime. We don't share mobile numbers with anyone for marketing.
Athletes under 18
Many AHD athletes are minors. A parent or guardian should create the account, make purchases and approve any swing video or information that is shared. AHD does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without a parent or guardian's consent. Accounts for athletes under 13 must be created and managed by a parent or guardian, using the parent's email. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information without that consent, tell us and we will delete it.
When sharing swing video, please don't include a player's school, address, team schedule or other private details. A private video link is best.
Swing video
- SwingChecker™: a video you open while answering stays on your phone or computer and is not uploaded to AHD.
- Coaching: clips or links you send are used only to coach your athlete. They are never posted publicly or used in marketing without written permission from the athlete (and a parent or guardian if under 18).
- You can ask us to delete any video you've sent at any time.
How long we keep it
Waivers are kept for as long as needed for safety, insurance and legal reasons, usually several years after the last session. We keep account and training records while your account is active and for as long as needed for course access, refunds, taxes and security. When you ask us to delete your data, we delete it from our systems, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records.
Your choices
- See or correct your information: update your profile in My Academy or contact Coach.
- Delete your account, swing videos and data: Delete My Data.
- Stop emails or texts: use the unsubscribe link, reply STOP to texts, or contact Coach.
- Take back media permission: contact Coach and we'll stop future use.
- Cookies: you can block or clear cookies in your browser. The site still works, though you may need to sign in again.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you specific rights to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your information. AHD gives these choices to every family, wherever you live. We will not treat you differently for using them.
Security
Paid lessons and account data are checked on our servers, not just hidden in the browser. Card data stays with Stripe, and our service keys are kept out of the website code. No system is perfect, but we work to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a problem affects you.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be shown on the site or emailed to account holders.
