for AHD.
By using athletichitting.com or buying an AHD program, you agree to these terms. We wrote them to be read, not skimmed past.
The short version
- Courses are a one-time purchase with 1 year of access for one athlete. No subscriptions, nothing auto-renews.
- Please don't share your login or repost AHD lessons.
- Training has risk. Warm up, use good form, and stop if anything is sharp, pinching or lingering pain. Read Training Safety.
- In-person lessons, camps and clinics need a signed participation waiver.
- Athletes under 18 need a parent or guardian to buy and approve the account.
- Refunds follow the AHD Confidence Guarantee.
Athletic Hitting Development ("AHD", "we", "us") is a business of Hitting Universe, LLC, an Arizona company. These terms are an agreement between you and Hitting Universe, LLC.
1. Who can use AHD
Anyone can read the blog and use SwingChecker™. To buy a program or create an account, you must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian create the account and make the purchase. A parent or guardian who signs up or buys for an athlete under 18 agrees to these terms for themselves and the athlete, and is responsible for the athlete's use of AHD. Accounts for athletes under 13 must be created and managed by a parent or guardian with the parent's email. AHD coach-education programs, including AHD Certified Coach, are for adults 18 and older.
2. Your account
Use the same email you used at checkout so your purchase unlocks. Keep your password private. Each purchase is for one athlete and one household. Sharing logins or reselling access isn't allowed, and accounts that do may lose access.
3. Purchases and access
- Prices are shown before checkout and charged once through Stripe.
- Self-guided courses and The Whole System include 1 year of access from purchase.
- 90-Day Private Coaching is a 90-day coaching engagement with BK.
- Live lessons and camps are confirmed individually in writing.
- We may improve, update or reorder lessons over time. We won't remove what you paid for during your access period.
4. Refunds
Refunds follow the AHD Confidence Guarantee: courses and The Whole System within 30 days; private coaching in full before the first session or swing review.
5. Safety and health
Hitting, strength, speed and arm-care training involve physical activity and some risk of injury. AHD gives coaching and education, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Check with a doctor or other qualified professional before starting a training program, especially after an injury. Use proper equipment, a safe space and adult supervision for young athletes, and follow our Training Safety guidelines. Stop any drill if something is sharp, pinching or causes lingering pain. The athlete, or for minors the parent or guardian, decides whether an activity is right for the athlete. You and your athlete take part at your own risk.
6. In-person lessons, camps and clinics
Every athlete at an in-person AHD session needs a signed Participation Waiver & Medical Authorization before their first session each year, signed by a parent or guardian for athletes under 18. AHD may hold an athlete out of an activity for safety, or send home an athlete who repeatedly ignores safety rules. Booking, rescheduling and refund details are confirmed in writing when you book.
7. Results
Every hitter is different. AHD teaches a proven process, but we can't promise a specific result, stat line, roster spot or scholarship. Development depends on the work the athlete puts in. Testimonials on the site are real athletes' experiences, not typical or guaranteed results. Complete hitters are built, not given. Earned.
8. SwingChecker™ and the "Ask AHD" assistant
SwingChecker™ and the "Ask AHD" AI assistant are free tools that help you find a starting point. They are not a coach, an evaluation or medical advice, and the AI assistant can make mistakes. BK has the final word. Don't rely on either one for health or safety decisions.
9. PR Board and Players Clubhouse
Log only real numbers from real tests, with honest proof clips. Coach decides which PRs are verified and may reject or remove any entry. Verified PRs are shown to other enrolled athletes with the athlete's first name and last initial, as described in our Privacy Policy. Treat other athletes with respect. Bullying, trash talk aimed at a person, or sharing another athlete's information isn't allowed.
10. AHD Certified Coach
The AHD Certified Coach credential means a coach passed AHD's exam and graded coaching review. It is an AHD education credential, not a government license, background check or safety certification, and it does not make the coach an employee or agent of AHD. AHD may decline, suspend or revoke a credential for dishonesty, misconduct, misuse of AHD materials, or conduct that puts athletes at risk. Certified coaches may say they are AHD Certified and use the badge AHD provides while their credential is active.
11. AHD content
All AHD videos, lessons, scripts, graphics, SwingChecker™, logos and names belong to Hitting Universe, LLC, doing business as Athletic Hitting Development. You may use them for your own athlete's training. Please don't copy, record, repost, sell or teach from them commercially without written permission.
12. What you send us
You keep ownership of the swing videos and information you send. You give AHD permission to use them only to coach your athlete and run your account. We won't use an athlete's video, name or story publicly without written Media Permission from the athlete, or from a parent or guardian if under 18. See our Privacy Policy.
13. Text messages
When you contact Coach or give us your mobile number and say we may contact you, you agree that BK may text you about your athlete, your account or the program you asked about. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
14. Respect
Coaching works best with mutual respect. We may end access for abuse, harassment, fraud, chargebacks made in bad faith, or misuse of the site.
15. Limits
The site and programs are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, AHD's total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the program involved. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.
16. Arizona law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. If we ever disagree, we'll first try to work it out directly. Just contact Coach.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using AHD after a change means you accept the updated terms.
